December - no meeting - four of us met for Cosmopolitans
November 2012
The meeting was held on Monday Nov. 12 and the book was Just Kids by Patti Smith. See the Photos Page for photos.
October 2012
The meeting was on Thursday October 25.
The book was Major Pettigrew's Last Stand by Helen Simonson.
Most of us loved the book.
September 2012
We met twice in September :Tuesday September 11th and Thursday September 27th. The book was Sanctuary of Outcasts by Neil White.
August 2012 - We met on Tuesday August 14 at 6:30 at our favorite bookseller's cafe. We discussed State of Wonder by Ann Patchett.
June 2012 -We each selected one of two books. We met on June 12 at our favorite booksellers.
One Writer's Garden by Susan Haltom
The All of It by Jeannette Haien.
May 2012 : we met on May 8th. We decided to meet at our favorite book store. Each of us read our choice of a Charles Dickens' book as the world celebrated his 100th birthday.
April 2012
We met the second Tuesday (April 10) at our favorite East Book Store . We read our individual choice of one of these two Wallace Stegner books: Angle of Repose or Crossing to Safety.
March 2012
We read Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez. The second Tuesday was March 13th, and we met at our midtown Cafe.
February 2012
We met at Sherri's house on Feb. 21st and we had Louisiana food in honor of Mardi Gras.
We read:

Idea - these three books lost by one vote at our last selection election. Should we add these later?

January 2012
The Plague of Doves by Louise Ehrdrich was our book for January. Sherri, Amy, Barbara and Sally met on Tuesday January 10th at the favorite Booksellers.
January Party: We were invited to Deborah and David's house for the Annual Couple's Party with Favorite Book of 2011 Election on Saturday January 7th. We skipped the book election and might do it online this year.
